On January 26, 2021 Bishop Knestout instituted several organizational changes that effect the ministries of the Center for Marriage, Family, and Life. The ministries of the Center have been split and added to the scope of responsibility for two other Diocesan offices. The Office for Evangelization will now oversee Marriage and Family Life ministries. The Office of Social Ministries will now oversee all Respect Life initiatives and ministries. The information contained on this website will migrate over to the other two Offices, and all new programs or events will be posted there.
The Bishop’s Box
Family and the Domestic Church
Healthy family life grounded in God’s plan for marriage between one man and one woman is the backbone of a healthy society. The family is the privileged place in which people encounter Jesus and grow closer to Him. The Church takes this revelation seriously and seeks to provide good pastoral care for families at all stages of life.
