There are many pregnancy resource centers throughout the Diocese of Richmond. None of the locations listed below refer for abortion or prescribe artificial contraception. They each offer a different range of services for little or no cost. The locations are divided by geographic region to make your search easier.

Eastern Shore

Hope 4 Life (H4L) is a mobile pregnancy resource center that parks near the Virginia Beach/Norfolk abortion clinics to meet abortion-bound young women where they are, as they are walking into the abortion facility. H4L offers pregnancy tests, ultrasound services, and counseling. These free services will enable mothers and fathers to encounter the humanity of their developing child, and will encourage them to carry their babies to term.

The Pregnancy Outreach Office is a ministry of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Newport News for pregnant women, throughout the prenatal period, and expectant fathers, who have chosen life and need support in caring for their infants and children. They offer free pregnancy screenings, maternity clothing, infant & children’s clothing up to 24 months (2T), infant formula, diapers, some infant furnishings, community resource information, and emotional support throughout pregnancy.

Carenet RPC is located in Newport News and offers free services including pregnancy testing, ultrasound services, and confidential consultations and counseling. Call or fill out their online form to make an appointment.

Hope Pregnancy Care Center

The Hope Pregnancy Center is an apostolate of Saint Bede Catholic Church in Williamsburg. They offer free services including pregnancy testing, pregnancy counseling, ultrasound referral, prenatal care referral, adoption referral and counseling, and post-abortive healing counseling. Through their Outreach Center they can provide maternity clothing, diapers, baby gear, other material assistance as needed.
